Did you know you can’t make up a face? Not entirely? You are always cutting and pasting real faces you know into an imaginary face. As a novelist and a historian I am fascinated by people and have a file of faces on my phone so that when I create a new character I am describing a real person not a caricature. Here are some of the faces coming soon to an All Souls Series book … I gathered these at the @nationalportraitgallery when @coadybee and I went on a creativity field trip during my recent writing retreat.
